Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Especially the bellman Elgert! We requested a low floor for the convention we were attending and they were able to accommodate us with just one phone call to the front desk. One of my favorite hotels!

I had an exceptional experience at the Westin Galleria, thanks to Amy's unparalleled commitment to guest service. In a remarkable display of dedication, she went above and beyond to fulfill a unique request for fresh pineapples at 9:30 pm on a Tuesday, tirelessly calling open restaurants within walking distance until success. The hotel itself is luxurious, but it's the outstanding service, exemplified by Amy, that ensures I'll exclusively choose Westin Galleria for my work travels. Five stars for exceptional service and a truly memorable stay!

Nice hotel but customer service not great as a single female traveller

Disappointed as a single female traveller to be placed in a room that could be accessed from outside of my room. The room was clean although a little outdated. The cleaning staff ALWAYS do an immaculate job. I attended for a conference and very pleased to say the rest of the stay was very good, just sad that my safety concerns were not listened to. Normally as a single female traveller, I am placed higher up away from external access. Request to move rooms logged and apart from the initial response that a move on the first night could not be accomplished, communication from Marriott stopped despite staying a total of 4 nights. As a Marriott member this was disappointing. In future all Houston trips will be at another hotel or chain.

Upon arrival, valet greeted my Fiancé and I with a smile and helped us with all of our bags from start to finish. When checking in at the front desk, the concierge had a smile on his face the whole time and was very helpful with any questions we had during our stay. The rooms are always clean, organized, and everything works great during our stay. The rooms are very quiet and there is no room noise and or hallway noise when ready to go to sleep. The workout room has a great view over the buildings and is clean, sanitized and doesn't have that smelly gym smell. The bartender "Jamie" is always a wonderful!! She always has a smile on her face, very professional, and friendly. The drinks are always 100% top notch and never disappoints. Great thing about the Westin Galleria Hotel, is the Galleria mall. It is easily accessible through the hotel lobby or upstairs to do everyday shopping, eating, and even grabbing a Starbucks coffee in the morning. Another great remark about the Westin Galleria Hotel, is even though there is mall access there is great safety measure to all guests and staff as you can only use the hotel key cards when entering back in the hotel from the mall, and when using the elevators that way, nobody can just come in the hotel and hang out or wonder around the hotel floor levels. We always recommend the Westin Galleria Houston Hotel to everyone we know. We never had any issues with the hotel, and we stay very often and don't like to stay anywhere else. Everyone treats us like family and that's what makes a great hotel.

Valet was awesome! Dildar helped lead a team to unload our vehicles with items for our private event. We had lots of auction items and items that were heavy and fragile. They helped us without skipping a beat. Amazing service with a smile!
